Article 1
The pay of the President and the Vice President shall be regulated by this act.
Article 2
The following terms shall have the meaning set forth below:
1. Monthly salary: refers to the basic pay in accordance to this act.
2. Political affairs pay: refers to the additional pay for the duty of the post holder in addition to the monthly salary.
Article 3
The pay of the President and the Vice President shall be divided into monthly salary and political affairs pay, which shall be given monthly.
Article 4
The monthly salary of the President and the Vice President shall be given in accordance to the following standards:
1. The monthly salary of the President shall be given as 2,700 points.
2. The monthly salary of the Vice President shall be given as 2,000 points.
The Executive Yuan shall regulate the method for converting the points correspondent to the pay amount for the monthly pay set forth above.
Article 5
The amount of political affairs pay shall be regulated by the Executive Yuan.
Article 6
The enactment date of this Act shall be regulated by the Executive Yuan.
