Organization Act of the Administration of Commerce, Ministry of Economic Affairs

The Ministry of Economic Affairs shall establish the Administration of Commerce (hereinafter referred to as “the Administration”) to administer the development of commerce and related affairs.
1The Administration shall be in charge of the following matters:
21.Planning and drafting policies, laws, and regulation for the development of commerce.
32.Comprehensively guiding, supervising, and coordinating relevant business affairs.
43.Providing incentives, subsidies and counseling for innovation, research and development, carbon reduction adaptation, marketing, and promotion of the commercial service industry.
54.Devising, planning and implementing international cooperation and exchanges of the commercial service industry.
65.Dealing with the reservation, registration and management of company and limited partnership name and business scope.
76.Planning, promotion, providing consultant and administering the retail market.
87.Managing business administrative data and information.
98.Handling other matters related to the development of commercial service industry and administrative affairs.
The Administration shall have one Director-General at senior grade 13; and two Deputy Directors-General at senior grade 12.
The Administration shall have one Secretary-General at senior grade 11.
The ranks, grades, and number of positions of the Administration shall be governed by a separate organization chart.
The implementation date of this Act shall be decreed by the Executive Yuan.
