Fee-charging Standards for Tourist Hotel and Hotel Rating Assessment by the Tourism Administration, Ministry of Transportation and Communications

These Standards are prescribed pursuant to the provisions of Article 10, Paragraph 1 of the Charges and Fees Act.
1When the Tourism Administration, Ministry of Transportation and Communications (“the Tourism Administration”) conducts rating assessments of tourist hotels and hotels, it shall charge rating assessment fees for the items of assessment according to the following schedule:
21.One-star to three-stars rating assessment fees, NTD36,000 (thirty-six thousand New Taiwan dollars).
32.Four-stars and above rating assessment fees, NTD86,000 (eighty-six thousand New Taiwan dollars).
For the issuance of a tourist hotel or hotel rating assessment sign, the Tourism Administration shall charge a fee of NTD3,000 (three thousand New Taiwan dollars).
This Schedule shall come into force from the date of promulgation.
